The George offers on-site parking for hotel guests. If you are joining us just for the day, there is an adjacent parking lot and plenty of street parking available along historic Front Street.

One of the best parts about downtown Georgetown is how walkable it is! Once you park at the hotel, almost everything in the historic district is within a 5–10 minute walk.

Yes! The George Hotel is fully ADA-compliant. It features accessible entrances and elevators to all floors!

We’ll be celebrating entirely outdoors! Our ceremony and cocktail hour are on the lawn, and the reception is under a beautiful tent. Since we’re right on the water, you can expect a nice coastal breeze in the evening.

In the event of rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will also be moved under the tent!

To help us finalize plans and coordinate details with our venue, please submit your RSVP by August 31st. We want to make sure everyone has a seat and a meal, so timely responses are incredibly helpful!

We love your children, but we have decided to make our special day an adults-only event. Thank you so much for your understanding as we plan our celebration!

Please avoid taking photos during the ceremony, and important traditional formalities during the reception, such as the first dance, parent dances, etc. We want our hired photographer to get the best shots without disruptions. However, you are encouraged to take as many photos as you’d like outside of these important moments! We will also have a group share photo app available at the reception, which we encourage all guests to participate in!

Yes, of course! You are welcome to book lodging of your choice; there are room blocks available at the Hampton Inn Georgetown! Please see the Travel tab for more information!

Yes! Eliza’s Waterfront Bar is right on the property and is a great spot to gather for a drink by the firepit before or after the main events.

You’re in the heart of the historic district! We highly recommend a stroll down the Harborwalk, which is just steps from the hotel. You can also visit the Rice Museum or grab a coffee and browse the shops on Front Street.
